Mr Fairbank diagnosed a knee cartilage condition following referral by my GP. He recommended minor surgery based on scan evidence and explained in great detail the proposed procedure and recovery process. As events transpired, the condition improved of its own accord and to date I have not followed up for the completion of surgery proposed by Mr Fairbank. The fact that I have not gone ahead and asked Mr Fairbank to operate is no reflection on his diagnosis and recommendation - I just appear to have been afforded some luck that means surgery isn't currently necessary.

Mr. Fairbank has done full knee replacements on both my knees this year, 2013. I would recommend you consult him if you need knee surgery. Thank Heaven he was recommended to me by a GP friend, and by my physio. He explained everthing fully and gave me confidence to go ahead with such scary surgery. He has my eternal thanks, as he is truly the finest surgeon.
